This Monday, the father, the uncle, and the brother of Paloma Gallardo, the 16-year-old girl murdered alongside her boyfriend Josué Salvatierra in an open field in Florencio Varela, will provide testimony in the case. The request was made by the lawyer representing the Salvatierra family, Carlos Diéguez, according to judicial sources. Paloma's relatives will appear before the prosecutor of Florencio Varela, Darío Provisionato.
On the other hand, the statement from the police officers of the 4th precinct in Bosques is also awaited to provide details about the search for both young people and the investigation once they were found dead. Additionally, the analysis of the mobile phone seized from Gonzalo López, 36, who was arrested for possessing a device with the same IMEI as Josué's, is still pending.
López claimed to have acquired the phone six months ago; however, its identity matches that of the murdered young man in Florencio Varela, which raises the possibility that it is either the same device or an illegal copy. It is planned to open the seized phone to verify its connection to the Salvatierra case.
Furthermore, the results of the examinations on a tablet belonging to Josué and on the personal computer of Paloma's brother are still pending. These details are crucial to clarify the facts and advance in the investigation of the crime that shocked the community of Florencio Varela.
